Does anyone have any photos specifically of PAVN officers?
Now that I have a TT-33, I'd like to have an officer kit to go with it. And there was some talk of maybe being something more than just a lowly comrade soldier for next OpLibCan ;)

Perhaps someone has a 4 breast pocket blouse they are looking to liquidate?
Did all officers wear 4 pocket shirts? Did they try to dress down as simple soldiers when on the ever-present 360 degree front line?

Officially NCOs and officers wore four pocket shirts but many officers preferred to look the part of the common soldier to show the all for one communist spirit. As you can see from the photos many varied looks are appropriate. Picking up items that look about right at thrift shops should get you by when you stick on a chest rig, some pouches and a section of camo parachute fabric and a boonie hat with beer can emblem or pith helmet.

This book has some good photos. It's a collection of photos taken by North Vietnamese combat photographers. Probably available at your local library or through inter-library loan. Worth checking out!
